After carefully taking in Montreal Canadiens‘ general manager Marc Bergevin and head coach Claude Julien‘s postmortem press conference today, I decided to share my thoughts in a short, 10-minute segment which you can catch below.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Regarding Alex Galchenyuk, it’s clear that he is not where he is expected to be.
  • There is certainly mutual interest between Alexander Radulov‘s people and the Habs brass to get a deal done, though Radulov’s agent would not negotiate during the regular season.
  • Bergevin will begin negotiating a contract extension with Carey Price as early as July 1st 2017. I’m not very optimistic that Price will stick around, and you can further read why here (January 2016) and especially here (February 2017).

And more!
